Dr. Anna Christine Gurrera is the owner of Alpine Foot Specialists in Lake Zurich, Illinois, where she has been caring for patients since 2012. She is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is highly trained in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Gurrera treats patients of all ages and has a special interest in athletes, sports injuries, and bunion correction.
Originally from Glenview, Illinois, Dr. Gurrera began her career by serving in the United States Army, gaining discipline and experience that shaped her commitment to patient care. After completing her service, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Chicago and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center and NorthShore University Health System.
Her patients value her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and dedication to educating them about their condition and treatment options. Outside the clinic, Dr. Gurrera enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, staying active through weight lifting, running, yoga, cycling, and traveling.
