Dr. Anna Gurrera
Dr. Anna Gurrera is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is highly trained in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. She is originally from Glenview, Illinois and is proud to be serving her community in the Northwest suburbs. After graduating high school, she enlisted in the United States Army. Through her training and travel, Dr. Gurrera gained invaluable experience that helped prepare her for a professional career in podiatry. After returning home, she served the Army Reserve while attending the University of Illinois Chicago, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL and obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She then completed a comprehensive three year podiatric medical and surgical residency program at Rush University Medical Center and NorthShore University Health System. In her free time, Dr. Anna enjoys crossfit training, boxing, kickboxing, running, biking, and traveling.
